The $9 billion Large Hadron Collider experiment has already started and people around the world are fingers crossed as to what the outcome of the experiment may be.It is too early to predict and say.Generally in such experiments a large set of details are to be collected and relying on a single computer or even an network of computers may not be enough to accommodate the terabytes of information that turn up everyday.That is why the scientists from all over the world are using an Grid network to meet with the resource allocation needs and data storage.Grid technology is one of the famous multiuser distributed computing model.In fact the whole experiment has accomodated 30,000 (Thirty thousand) servers and more than 100,000 (one lakh) processor cores from around the world.

Recently , i have been blogging more about the controversial big bang experiment.I know that i am writing more about it.But then , i have more to write about it and so i write about it.There were some speculations that it could create many black holes and ultimately eat up the whole planet earth.Scientists have ruled them all out as mere speculations and just unnecessary media hype.There are thousands of scientists from all over the world involved in the experiment , and all the major countries funding this multi-billion dollar experiment.So , how can they be so careless.I mean to say that there are no real problems with the experiment and now it has been declared a great success.However in countries like India and in the south east , the media and especially the Tele-media have created so much of a hype and tension about the experiment and many had thought that indeed it was the end of the world.I am sure it is not.Even the scientists say.But , people still believe that the earth is going to end sooner.Now , what will happen next is that if a tsunami or a earthquake strikes the Indian mainland the next time , or any other natural disaster happens here or any other part of the world for that matter , They will be blaming the Big bang experiment.

I had written a couple of days ago that the scientists were working on an experiment as to find how the earth evolved , artificially simulating the Big bang theory using high velocity protons in action.There were many scientists who were against it before the test.Now , there are many for it.It was successfully tested and no we have get an idea as to how the mother earth and other planets and the whole universe , for that matter came into existence.Scientists , philosophers and researchers from across the world have been congratulating and are all praises for the man who wanted to try this experiment out and it is no doubt that it is already a great success.IT is a multi – billion dollar experiment.

Scientists are always in experimentation of something or other.But , when you are experimenting on something , you will have to be socially and also ethically responsible for somethings that are associated with the experiments.That’s the sign of a good scientist.the existence of earth and the universe has been a debatable topic till now , till this very date.There are many many theories that have been put forward for the existence of earth and the universe.The major theory that strikes ones mind when we talk about it is the “Big Bang Theory”.Dr. Lyn Evans , a British scientist has something new about the big bang theory and is on the verge of conducting an experiment to simulate the big bang theory and study on it based on the consequences of it.many scientist around the world are alarmed by this and are trying desperately to stop it as it could create many unstable black holes and ultimately destroy the planet earth and subsequently the universe.I too feel the same here.

“In an effort to find how life came on the earth and how the earth came into existence, it would be foolish to destroy the earth”.
