With major sporting events these days, the one thing that you would like to associate these days are the Cheer leaders.Yes, be it cricket , the leagues like IPL, Soccer, or Volley ball, they are there dancing, cheering you all the way.But,is it firstly necessary to have cheer leaders.What do they do for the game.It is just another fascinating add-on to the sport or is it the main attraction in itself.Thats the question that has to be answered.Indeed, it is a difficult one to answer.These days the sport or the game in itself is not that good or sufficient in crowd pulling other than the major sporting or gaming events like the world cup, Copa America and so on.So, when there are additions such as this, it pulls crowd and helps in getting more people to watch the match.SO, it is beneficial from the event conductors point of view.IT is also beneficial from our point of view as we feel that we are enjoying the match/game or whatever.SO, what is the use if people come to watch the cheer girls, and not the match.Is selling tickets and getting a full house the only objective of Sports and Games.JUst a matter of concern and please do think about it!!
